I was able to shoot this gorgeous senior at the beautiful Eaton’s Ranch in Wolf, Wyoming where her family lives, surrounded by all kinds of interesting backdrops and that beautiful glow of late afternoon sun. We spent about an hour exploring the property and really playing up her flair for fashion; it was the perfect combination of incredible light, a gorgeous senior and unique surroundings. I used the Canon 5D with my 35 1.4 and the 50 1.2 for the session. I travel pretty light and just enjoy finding those pockets of light that make a photograph beautiful to me, as well as playing with angles and composition to switch things up. I absolutely love shooting seniors and allowing them to see something extraordinary and beautiful in themselves. I think imagery can bring out the best in everyone when the photographer connects with the subject and takes the time to discover how best to bring their inner beauty to the surface.
