lil’ owl knitts was created when i was pregnant with my son. i initially started to knit little hats for him, but immediately became in love with making “tiny” things. i was a graphic designer at the time ( still am ) so i brought my color theory and design from what i learned in college into my knitting. i honestly cannot say how i got to where i am today, but all i know that it has been beyond an amazing experience and a blessing. i try to incorporate the love i have for vintage into every knit i make. i also am a spinner, so a lot of the funky yarns you see are my creations. i am currently in the process of creating all my own yarn, and trying to find the most eco- friendly approach in doing so. all in all, i love what i do and i am very grateful to be able to have a “job” that makes me happy :)
