I have been planning this session for so long, literally for two months before it finally happened. I wanted everything to be perfect, and I also had the most amazing makeup artist and hairstylist that worked with us. If you ever need amazing makeup and hair, definitely look up Maria Spatharakis Mathioudakis at: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1764983493. So, we decided to do the session very similar to what my friend at Spanki Mills Photography (her link: https://www.facebook.com/spankimillsphotography) in Texas did with her trash the dress session last spring. Spanki mentored me over the summer for a month, and she has helped me start up my photography business in a wonderful way. I was so inspired from her trash the dress session that I had to plan one!
As soon as we got to the park, with every picture I took, I just fell in love! I loved working with Marina, and she is such a trooper for trashing the dress in the COLD, COLD lake…she screamed as soon as she put her foot in the lake. The funny part is, she was trying to walk in the lake slowly so that she wouldn’t fall in and she fell in! I captured the moment right when she was about to fall in, it turned out to be really cute. Plus, how lucky we were to have a gorgeous, 85 degree weather when it’s usually 50 degrees around this time of the year. Every picture was so amazing that it was so hard for me to narrow it down from 400 pictures. I was so inspired and so determined with this session that I absolutely can not wait to do more of these sessions.
