Violet Short Photography|Fashion Photography Inspiration

I had a session done recently (the day after Christmas) on a cold day in Indianapolis. I collaborated with makeup artist Meg Stine of Indianapolis in creating a stylized winter bridal portrait session. My model, Alexandra, required little to no help in posing as she was so in tune with her character the role she was playing as a hidden bride. Our concept was one of angst, fear and an unwillingness to grow up. This bride has runaway and came to a place of sanctuary in the forest. I have found her, and so begins the journey! Also along side of me during this shoot was Jean Loper Photography ( http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jean-Loper-Photography/191094530909036  ).
My style as a photographer would be described as dream-like, nostalgic, and light. I have been working in photography for a little over a year now and I am continuing to learn and strengthen my knowledge with every new shoot (this being the last and one of my favorites of the year 2011).
