Michelle Moore|Senior Photography Inspiration

Michelle Moore is fashion editorial and high school senior portrait photographer working in both Seattle and Los Angeles. She had the pleasure of shooting her first Magazine Cover last October with 90210 star Jessica Lowndes and has worked with many local and national magazines on editorial and celebrity assignments. Michelle loves helping high school seniors see their inner and outer beauty with her boutique-like portrait experience, and bringing awareness to healthy body image through her fashion and celebrity editorial work.

I always love a good client testimonial, and this really goes to show HOW IMPORTANT my senior clients are to me, and how EXTREMELY PASSIONATE I am about giving them an amazing experience!!

“We got the photos yesterday :) Madi looked at them and said “dang! who knew I was so beautiful!” – that was the ONLY time I’ve ever heard her say anything even remotely positive about herself like that! Thank you so much for giving us such amazing pictures. It is a wonderful gift that my daughter can forever see herself the way we see her……” – Beverly, Madison’s mother

Gear Details:
This session with Maddie I primarily stuck to using my 85mm.  I love the versatility in this lens (or a 50mm) for it’s ability to get stunning portrait shots, and also nice full-length outfit shots that have a nice depth to them – giving them a look of a “magazine” editorial.  I also played with my 45mm tilt-shift lens for a few select shots to play with the blur and depth of field in a unique way.  I only use it for a shot or two – as my clients really love the nice clean and classic style of imagery.  Since it was sunny out and later in the day I was also sure to use my reflector when needed to add the catchlights in her eyes – especially for the close-ups!
