It all began with a red couch. Our red couch was such a fun impulse buy but ended up posing a bit of a dilemma with my current set of decorating skills. After years (yep, years!) of searching, I had yet to find any artwork that I was in love with to hang above it. And so began the dream of a fun, family session that was bright, colorful and whimsical…something to match our red couch. Being a photographer myself, I’ve been blessed with amazing photographer friends who helped turn my dream into a vision. The local carnival made the perfect backdrop. I purchased a new dress and shoes (everything else came from second hand stores) and we headed off to the carnival to capture some of the best memories that we’ll keep forever. Oh, and of course, we have the most amazing pictures to hang above our red couch!
