‘I had a blast doing Savannah’s (and Rose’s) senior pictures!! We went to several locations around Santa Clarita and just happened to stumble upon a carnival when heading to one of my favorite spots. The people there were kind enough to let us take photos and they are some of my favorites!! Other than the fact that we had to move around a lot to avoid other people in the photos, that it was CRAZY hot out, and we were covered in dust at the end, the pictures turned out amazing!! These two girls have been best friends for several years and it was so much fun to capture their friendship (along with lots and lots of giggling throughout the day)!
Savannah is an aspiring photographer and she brought along some incredible props to use throughout the day. The bubbles and frames were all her and then I brought along some vintage cameras for her to use as well.’ – Tara Rochelle

Katey is a lovely, quiet young lady who came to us with two simple requests; she did not want photos in the traditional field or tall grass setting, and she wanted to be photographed in sunflowers. There aren’t many sunflower fields in Memphis, but every year around the first of August, there’s a big field of them at Shelby Farms Park. So, with her requests in mind, we started our session in downtown Memphis and captured lots of fun portraits in unique, quirky urban locations. When she told me she played guitar, I knew the Levitt Shell would be the perfect spot to capture that side of her. It’s a classic setting for local bands, and was one of Elvis’ favorite places to perform in Memphis. Finally, we wrapped up our shoot in the sunflowers at sunset.
