Ritchie Rags is a children’s wear line that I developed after the birth of my 4th child. I love childwear fashioned with children in mind, not mini adults. Pieces that can go anywhere, unique combinations, eye catching in portraits, and equally stunning wearing about all day! My line goes beyond the current fashion trends, and is crafted to be handed down and enjoyed time and time again. I believe in a “no rules” approach to seasons and fashions…have a favorite pair of shorts or summer dress…wear it all year by layering and tossing on boots!! Collections and pieces are influenced by many things…sometimes it is a particular period of time, a vintage garment, a historical character, books, the ocean, the prairie, the sky, flowers, a color, a memory, the list goes on and on. I hand select all of my fabrics and trims and am drawn to natural textiles..cotton, silk, and linen. Childhood is a time of innocence, adventure and wonder, and clothing is an integral part of that.
