‘For this shoot I traveled to the Macon, Georgia cherry blossom festival with one of my favorite couples. Dat and Stephanie are two beautiful souls that are really in love. The outfits were styled by Dat and Stephanie, and the makeup done by Stephanie. ‘ – Starrette Photography

‘Jake and Sam are engaged to be married this coming August. We snuck in this shoot a week after Jake proposed and a week before Sam left to spend a semester in Spain. The combination of beautiful weather and a stunning couple made for a fantastic shoot. We started off shooting in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan for an urban look and finished in a field near Allendale, Michigan at sunset. These two have a passionate love that truly is infectious. ‘ – Rachel Gabrielse Photography

‘These photos were taken at the MoJo Workshop held in Knoxville, Tennessee. Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores so I was excited to take photos of a shoot designed around their unique aesthetic. LB Floral wonderfully translated the vibrant colors into lovely floral arrangements.’  – Star Noir Studio

/’For this session I actually saw my model at a Halloween Party. I loved her Cinderella costume she was wearing, I pulled myself together and asked her if she would be interested in modeling for me and I gave her my card.  The conversation didn’t come out like I had rehearsed in my mind and I was pretty sure that she would never email me, but a couple of weeks later she did!  We went ahead and planned to meet at a wildlife refuge in Alaska, and I asked her to wear her Cinderella costume, which happened to be her wedding dress!  It was 20 Degrees outside when we took the photos, and the couple was freezing!  But, I think that the photos look magical with the scenery and her outfit. Her and her husband are newlyweds, and so much fun to photograph.

These photos are a combination of natural light and off camera flash…’ – Christal Houghtelling

Having a theme is always a great start to lovely engagements since it gives the entire event a launching point. With that said it was really cool to capture vintage-styled boat idea for the engagements of Jason & Amanda at the Battleship TEXAS State Historic Site. Really dramatic light in certain parts of this scene but the highlight was their amazing chemistry. Shooting in greenery surrounding the monument was touching as well. My favorite frames would have to be on the stairs of the monument…the sun was setting and their chemistry was quite effortless. – Civic Photos
