Tuesday, June 19th, 2012I have a wonderful little maternity session to share with you today! It is shot exclusively on Film, with a Contax 645 medium format film camera with Fuji400h pro and ilford 3200 bw. We started in the field behind my home in Tampa Florida at sunrise, and had wonderful magical light to work with. I also just finished photographing the birth of their new baby, which was a beautiful water birth at Labor of Love birth center in Tampa Florida.

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012This session was done in the 7th month of Ashley’s pregnancy and shortly after her and Caleb’s 3rd wedding anniversary. We were hoping for a unique maternity/anniversary session with an intimate feel. We wanted to embrace the Northwest Washington rain and shoot in a downpour, but unfortunately by the time we were all set up it was only sprinkling. We shot at about 8/9pm in mid November, backlit by car headlights. This was one of my first sessions shot purely on film, using my Hasselblad 500c and Nikon F100. I used Ilford Delta 3200 film and had it developed and scanned at Pro Photo Connection.
