Right Now, Forever
As hard as it can be some days, I still look at my kids and wish I could take this time, right now, and keep it forever. Obviously I can’t keep them little forever, but what I can do is spend time with them and capture all their little quirks so I have that to look back on. This is exactly what lifestyle photography is all about. Right now, forever. The way your family or life is right now, captured for you to keep always.
Today I spent about 3 hours just hanging out with my kids. No distractions of any kind. Well, unless you count my camera. ;) I wanted to capture some of the typical things that go on in a day for us. The things that go on in every day life are ever-changing. It doesn’t seem too long ago that I was spending my days changing diapers left and right having two kids in them at once! And now that’s just a memory.
Any way, I don’t want to go on too much more, or I may start shedding some tears! :’) So here’s a little glimpse into a typical day for us. We usually stay home so I let the kids throw on whichever clothes they want most days. Unmatched? They don’t care. We homeschool. We like princesses and sea animals and using our bed as a jungle gym. And we like to make up silly games like “make the book bop the nose”.
