I got my start in photography from my love of self portraits.  I’ve always been a bit on the silly side so I love finding new ways to show off different sides of my personality.  One day, in 2007, a friend of mine asked if I would be interested in photographing her wedding.  That’s when my photography endeavor began.   :)
Since then, I try to take a new self portrait ever so often.  These photos are ranging from my start in photography til now.

I love creative self portraits. Though this is the standard mirror image, the ring light in her eyes are fantastic!Plus I love the fierce look :) Which is totally Trisha!

I’m a relatively new photographer in the Orlando FL area. My photographic style is simple, but I’ve found it to be very effective among my peers. I use natural light, unadorned backdrops, and imagination to achieve a dream-like feel in all of my photographs. I’ve polished my skills in portrait photography, engagement/couple photography, and event photography. Self-portraits are a way for me to experiment with different mediums, and play with light. They ultimately help me grow as a photographer.  When it comes to gear, it’s quite simple for me. I use a Canon 7D body and a 50mm lens 99% of the time.

Enjoy!
